Landon McGee & Friends

July 31, 2015 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Landon McGee

Landon McGee is a singer-songwriter who hails from Central Texas. His first album, “Kite”, is inspired by birds as a metaphor for human life, namely, the life of the soul. While it’s true that much of our time is spent eating and sleeping and trudging, our deepest life, the life of the soul, happens in narrative arcs that are not unlike the flight patterns of birds. Landon creates much of his music in the confine of a dorm room, after numerous quiet hours spent alone. Landon’s shared musical journey has just begun to take flight- don’t miss it.

Brenna Briles

Brenna Briles has always been around music, listening to her father and brother play guitar and sing as a little girl. She became interested in playing an instrument but wanted something different she could play with her family. She chose the ukulele and soon enough she learned to play several other instruments including the banjolele and harmonica. Brenna is involved in choir at school and enjoys playing in musicals, her favorite role being Morticia in the Addams Family Musical. Outside of music she enjoys clogging and reading scientific articles. She hopes to keep up her passion for music and learn how to play even more instruments very soon.

Chandler Dunn

Chandler Dunn, a Bryan, Texas native, brings a unique sounds influenced by the life and music of Spencer Green. Chandler was a part of the local band My Friend Gram, an integral part of the growing music scene in Bryan. After studying music at North Texas, Chandler began to develop his own personal identity as a musician and songwriter. His style is influenced by indie-folk king Sufjan Stevens, Jose Gonzales, and mentor Spencer Green. Look forward to hearing Chandler play this Friday alongside lifelong friend Landon McGee!
