Second Sunday Foreign Film returns to Grand Stafford Theater this November! Come join us Sunday, November 9th at 3 PM for an Italian film directed by Roberto Benigni.
“Life is Beautiful” is about a Jewish book keeper named Guido living in Italy in the 1930s. He falls in love and marries a woman from a nearby city. They have a son and live happily together until the occupation of Italy by German forces. In an attempt to hold his family together and help his son survive the horrors of a Jewish Concentration Camp, Guido imagines that the Holocaust is a game and that the grand prize for winning is a tank.
Tickets include movie and intermission treat provided by Frittella Italian Cafe.
