A concert event featuring The Coleman Brothers with their hit song “A Tribute to a Firefighter” and musician Eric Myers including a silent auction of locally donated services and goods. All proceeds will go to the firefighters and their families affected by the February 2013 Bryan tragedy and the March 2013 tragedy in West, Tx.

Always There for Texas is a local non-profit organization dedicated to serving volunteer fire departments in Texas. Their mission is to be “always there” for first responders, helping them to be well-trained, equipped and in a state of readiness when the next emergency call comes in. This event was inspired to help the families of the local Bryan firefighters who lost their lives and were injured in February 2013 but has now extended to also support first responders affected by the explosion in West, Texas, in March 2013. Recent events across the nation and state serve to remind the community of the need to support our first responders and their families in these times of tragedy and to continue to support them well after these events disappear from the headlines.
