Hailing from Christchurch, New Zealand, The Bristol Dollar has its roots in Americana, Kiwiana, Folk, Alt-Country, Blues and Swamp Rock. From these foundations they have built their own style of music that draws from each, and gives back something new.

Taking centre stage are the two lead vocalists, Bryan and Rebecca, each with their own style but the magic happens when the harmony work arrives and there is a real synergy in the voices. Sean, John and Jonathan provide the rhythm section and anchor the band. The instruments include resonator guitar, banjo,  bass and cajon and set the tone for the alt-country, alt-folk, blues, swamp rock feel the defines the band.
