Born in Illinois and raised in McAllen, Texas. 25-year old Aaron Stephens’ debut album Hard Times, Straight Lines garnered interest immediately, landing a spot on Lone Star Music Magazine’s list of Top Selling Albums of 2014.

While regularly performing blues and funk, Stephens’ real strength is his own soulful sound. Crowd-pleasing, genre-bending music influenced by his many influences, from Al Green to John Mayer, and D’Angelo to Derek Trucks.

Listen to us just once and you’ll understand why a guy in a Dallas ska band said we “sound freaking tight” and that we are “a nice addition to the Dallas ska scene” and another local artist said we are “legitimately the best live band I’ve ever seen.”
