FREE First Friday // The New Offenders, The Mammoths, Leander, Honest Men

A Houston-based, southern roots/rock band, The New Offenders was formed in August of 2014. Although there were a few renditions of this band in the years before, 2014 was the year the band solidified it’s line up and took to the streets. With influences spanning from guitar greats such as Warren Haynes, Anders Osborne and Mike Campbell from Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers to songwriters among the likes of Ryan Adams, Ben Harper and Jack White, this project promises to be of the eclectic variety.

Comprised of four members: lead singer David Kapsner; lead guitarist Michael Jekot; bass player Tyler Rush; and percussionist Tim Durand, The Mammoths have refined their sound and found their sweet spot in blending elements of blues, rock and psychedelic music into their songwriting. With face-melting guitar licks, hard-hitting drum beats and soulful vocals, this motley crew has found their home in Austin, Texas.

LeAnder is an American alternative rock band from Nashville, Tennessee on a mission to be fully alive. A combination of innovation and a fresh perspective drives the band to its Switchfoot and 30 Seconds To Mars inspired sound. The band members have collectively played with and opened for various bands in the music industry such as Framing Hanley, NeedToBreathe, Colton Dixon, We Are Messengers, Sent By Ravens, Oakley Brothers Band, and Seryn.
