KNDE 95.1 HD2 Fusion FM began as a Texas A&M University student’s end of semester project in Dr. Billy McKim’s Radio I course in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications. Bryan Broadcasting Corporation approached the department about turning this project into a student-run, commercial station via an HD signal that was currently not in use.
Fusion FM was created to bridge the experiential gap between academia and industry for future broadcasters. Through state-of-the-art software and equipment, students will be able to gain real-world experience in several areas of broadcast and media. This experience equates to sharpening practical skills and gaining a deeper knowledge of how the broadcast industry operates before students graduate.
