Hurricane Harvey Relief Benefit Show

September 17, 2017 @ 7:00 pm

The Hurricane Harvey Relief Benefit Concert features four Bryan/College Station bands whose members all have ties to the greater Houston community recently devastated by Hurricane Harvey.  Performers include The Ex-Optimists, Mutant Love, Electric Astronaut, and LUCA.  A minimum $5.00 donation is requested at the door to attend, but concert goers may donate more to the fund if they so desire.  Proceeds benefit the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, established by Houston mayor Sylvester Turner and the Greater Houston Community Foundation.  Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm.

The Ex-Optimists

Clearing rooms since 2008, The Ex-Optimists are till deafening B/CS audiences with their pop songs played with guitars plugged into amps turned up way too loud to get over a drummer who hits them too hard.

Check out The Ex-Optimists here!

Mutant Love

The result of a cloud of gas way out in space colliding with another weird cloud of gas.

Check out Mutant Love here!

Electric Astronaut

Electric Astronaut is a four-piece psych grunge band out of College Station, Texas. Featuring rock roots and Game of Thrones influences, their experimental grunge psych groove is out of this world. If your iPod was stoned, this is what it would play.

LUCA

Luca is College Station’s best landlocked early ’00s Pacific Northwest band, with intricate guitar interplay, upfront bass guitar, and manic pop songs lately played a punkish pace.
