ICARUS THE OWL
Icarus The Owl is an alternative rock band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 2009. The band is known for their frequent time signature changes and tap-guitar lines in otherwise sing-along pop songs. Without the help of a label, the band was able to distribute their full length debut album, “The Spotless Mind” in stores such as Hot Topic and other independent retailers across the nation. The band has also licensed music and appeared on MTV programming.
To date, Icarus The Owl has booked themselves on 11 national tours each averaging 7 weeks in length, Including an appearance on the “Kevin Says Stage” on the 2013 Vans Warped Tour. Throughout these tours, the band has shared the stage with The Ataris, The Story So Far, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, We Came As Romans, Becoming The Archetype, Protest The Hero,The Dangerous Summer, Maylene And The Sons of Disaster, and many more.
In 2012, Icarus The Owl released their 2nd full length album, “Love Always, Leviathan”. The band received favorable reviews from popular websites such as Altpress.com, Absolutepunk.net, Sputnikmusic.com, and more. Alternative Press described the band as, “technical pop-rock based out of Portland, Oregon who bring an uncharted amount of technicality to the genre. Equal parts ferocious guitar lines and infectious melodies, Icarus are sure to surprise at every turn.”

OTTOMAN TURKS
Ottoman Turks is a Dallas/Bryan/College Station-based four piece that was formed at the beginning of 2010 out of the ashes of a former band. Somebody had written a few songs, so we all got together and figured them out somewhat and then we played two shows without knowing what we were doing. They went well enough, so we figured we’d continue.
Over the years we have gained and lost a couple members, but the core of the group, and the sound we hope to cultivate, have remained essentially the same. A mixture of rough and rowdy blues, fast train songs and sad country ballads, with some skewed jazz and doo wop thrown in.
We have been repeatedly praised for our energetic live shows, which is where we have our most fun. The songs we write are largely built for the stage, and we prefer to showcase them that way. We appeal to a large array of audiences, and have played shows that reflect that – from biker parties by the Brazos to a grocery store opening in a Dallas suburb (that one was a weird one).
Tall Talk
Tall Talk is a 3-piece rock band from College Station.
