KANM Student Radio Presents Save The Music! Featuring Cheap Haircuts, Electric Astronaut, and more!

May 4, 2016 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm

hi_res

KANM Student Radio is a fully student run radio housed in the Memorial Student Center on the Texas A&M campus. We provide a place for students to share and discover new music they may not have heard before. On our stream you can find anything from EDM to underground rap to indie rock and everything in between.

Recently KANM has run into a few financial/technical problems. Which is the reason for this fundraiser because our main goal is the music. Finding new music, sharing music, and providing entertainment for all who happen upon us.

Jackson Webb: Jackson Webb is from Melissa, Texas. He started playing guitar in 8th grade, learning the basics from his dad and then figuring the rest out on his own. He grew up listening to every genre of music, and being exposed to such a wide variety has helped him appreciate all types of music, but also helped his song writing abilities. He grew up around music, and it’s something he’s very passionate about.

HYAH!: HYAH! is a 4-man punkfunk group from College Station, TX. Founded by Sensei Evan, the immortal members of the band have trained their skills extensively in the OG Dynasty, pulling influences from R&B, Rock, and Punk. Their music is an invitation and exclamation to a good time, but this is no simulation. This is HYAH!

Cheap Haircut: Cheap Haircuts is a Folk Punk/Folk Pop band that began in Plano, Tx. They’re album ‘You Are The Dream Star’ is available on Spotify and bandcamp.

Electric Astronaut: Electric Astronaut is a four piece band out of College Station Tx. With rock roots and Game of Thrones influences Electric Astronaut shows are something to see. You can find their music on bandcamp as well.

Mutant Love: Mutant Love is the result of a cloud of gas way out in space colliding with another weird cloud of gas. Find their music on bandcamp and other places on the interwebs.
