Leavenworth CD Release With Ben Ballinger and Chris Longoria Gonzalez

Leavenworth is a straight-ahead rock/country outfit that occasionally ventures into psychedelic freak outs and sparkly dream music. They are: John Krajicek (lead vocals, guitar), Ross Hudgins (lead guitar, vocals), Kyle Littlefield (drums, vocals), and Jye Shafer (bass, vocals). The band is very excited to mark the release of their debut album “All Despite Biology” with this show at the wonderful Grand Stafford!
Ben Ballinger
Originally hailing from The Dalles, OR, Ben Ballinger moved to Austin, TX in 2011 where he’s since established himself as a serious force on the Americana scene. A prolific and accomplished singer/songwriter, Ballinger makes roots music with a unique emotional depth and songwriting mastery. A balladeer in the truest sense, Ballinger consistently achieves what all troubadours aim for–he tells us his story while letting it be ours.
Chris Longoria Gonzalez
Originally from Harlingen, Texas, Chris Longoria Gonzalez spent several years touring the open mikes and songwriter showcases in Austin, involving himself in projects such as The Cool Arrows and The Slaughter Creek Band. He relocated to the Dallas / Fort Worth area where he formed and fronted several bands including the Americanos, The Brushlanders and the Dirt Blazers. Staying true to his art, he continues to write, record and perform with some of the best music talent North Texas has to offer. He also performs more intimate acoustic sets to showcase his compositions in their original written form.
