The Center for Executive Development (CED) at the Mays Business School presents the second session of the MPACT Speaker Series. Through this series, our purpose is to provide leaders, entrepreneurs, and members of the Brazos Valley with inspiration and ideas to transform their professional lives.
Steve will speak about “Learning how to overcome any challenge with a positive mindset”. Having nearly completely recovered from a severe trauma in 2014 that could have killed him or left him severely disabled, Steve shares how the lesson’s he learned throughout his life, including his time at Texas A&M, as a NASA engineer, and as an executive at Dell, set him up to not only survive, but to nearly completely recover. You will hear his inspiring story along with practical advice on how you can create a more positive mindset and overcome any obstacle you encounter. He is the author of Head First! A Crash Course in Positivity, a TEDx speaker, and his inspirational story and pragmatic lessons have received rave reviews from his audiences at Dell, Accenture, Starbucks headquarters, Texas A&M, t.u., SiriusXM, LifeWorks, and more.
Through MPACT, CED designs events and opportunities that positively “MPACT” communities by helping people and organizations build momentum, improve performance, renew attitudes, value collaboration and develop transformational leaders.
Doors open at 6:30 and keynote will begin at 7:00 pm with networking opportunities to follow.
