SAVANNAH BERRY

The Voice. Team Blake. Safe And Sound. That’s how the world discovered Savannah Berry. But like most “overnight success” stories, there were years of dedication and commitment that came before. Savannah, 18, has been performing live since she was 8 years old. It all began when her grandmother first brought her on-stage to sing with her at a Saturday night Opry in Texas.

When she was in the sixth grade, Savannah got the idea that it would be fun to videotape her performances of songs and post them on YouTube for her family and friends. Her first YouTube video was “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” and Savannah was surprised when people that she did not know started posting song requests. She did, of course, and with each posting the audience for her YouTube channel grew.

In 2011 Savannah’s YouTube channel took off catching the attention of the Academy of Country Music and her favorite artists, Sugarland. They asked if she would be interested in doing a “video duet” that would be used as a promo for the ACM Awards show. Savannah jumped at the chance and met up with Sugarland at the Ryman Auditorium, home of the Grand Ole Opry, to record a video of the duo’s #1 hit, “Stuck Like Glue.” The video was released in March 2011.

Savannah went on to join Sugarland on the red carpet at the 46th Annual ACM Awards to promote the video and she was also invited to perform at the ACM Awards All Star Jam, which, as an unsigned artist is a very rare occurrence.

In July of 2012, Savannah independently released her first EP of five original songs, which she wrote with Nashville songwriters Zac Maloy (Carrie Underwood’s #1 “Temporary Home”) and Kevin Griffin (Sugarland’s “Stuck Like Glue”). The EP is available on iTunes and streaming services like Spotify and ReverbNation.

Savannah performs live, solo and with her band, throughout her home state at opries, rodeos, sporting events and clubs. She’s a regular at WineStyles in Houston where she sells out every show. Savannah has performed at the Country Music Is Love benefit concert for City of Hope alongside Thompson Square, Josh Thompson, Chris Cavanaugh and Brett Eldredge. She has also performed with some of the biggest stars of the Texas music scene including Jack Ingram, Sammy Kershaw, Cody Canada (Cross Canadian Ragweed), Stony LaRue, Wade Bowen, Hayes Carll and Sean McConnell.

CHRISTIAN PORTER

Christian Porter is your regular all-American guy…but with extraordinaire musical talents. The 21-year-old Pennsylvania native grew up in a very family-oriented atmosphere, with his parents, Lori and Paul Porter, always supportive of their son’s goals. The young singer/songwriter became interested in music after learning to play the piano at a very young age, which helped inspire him to pursue other musical instruments (he also plays the guitar, drums, bass and ukulele) and interests, such as drama. Starring in his first musical in the sixth grade, Christian grew accustomed to the stage and the limelight, traits that would only help fuel his future career.

By the time he was 14, Christian started playing the guitar, which is what ignited his passion to create music full-time. A year later, he wrote his first original song, “Why Can’t You See,” and started to play at open mics around his hometown of Stroudsburg. Taking full advantage of his musical momentum and the success of that first single, the inspired musician continued to write, having more than 12 original songs only a few months later.

Proud of his accomplishments, Christian went into the studio and self-recorded his first album in 2008 when he was just 16 years old. Titled One Reason, the pop album features eight original songs and features guest appearances from artists like Randy Bigness, Regina Sayles and Tony Dellaria. The success of his music has led to opening gigs for Bo Bice, Thriving Ivory, Dawes, Ryan Cabrera, We The Kings and Gavin Degraw, in addition to various gigs at numerous bars, clubs, coffee houses, restaurants and more across the nation.

With a soulful pop sound, Christian’s music is truly unforgettable and comprised of melodic beats and heart filled lyrics. Growing up, his first musical inspirations were Elton John and Billy Joel, but by the time he began playing guitar, he started to listen to music from The Fray, John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Coldplay, Dave Matthews and Jack Johnson. Now, his music is a refection of all these inspirations, as he begins to carve out his own musical niche within the pop world.

In May 2012, Christian released his all-new EP, All About You, which consists of five original songs and is now available for purchase on iTunes. Currently, the unsigned artist is looking to expand his career and talents, while providing fans and music lovers with unique sounds that convey truth, realness and passion.
