Second Sunday Foreign Film Feat. “The Pope’s Toilet”

This month for our Second Sunday Foreign Film we will feature “The Pope’s Toilet,” a 2007 award winning film from Uruguay. From the makers of “City of God” and “The Constant Gardner,” the film tells of a small South American village that is in a flurry over the Pope’s 1988 visit.

At once funny and heartbreaking, the film features stunning cinematography and provides an intimate look at life on the border of Uruguay and Brazil.
