“The Great Beauty,” an Italian film, tells the story of a journalist, Jep Gambardella, who has lived his life through the extravagant nightlife of Rome for decades. Just shortly after his 65^th birthday, a shock from his past leads Jep to look past his nights at clubs and parties to find a timeless landscape of strange yet exquisite beauty.
