Sam Riggs and the Night People

With the passion and devotion Sam Riggs and The Night People bring to the stage, it`s no wonder the Texas Country music scene is quickly making room for one of the best acts to ever sweep across the region. From Austin, Texas, Sam and his band have been working the stages and crowds since the fall of 2010, with the release of his debut EP Hairpin Trigger Heart, which garnered attention from Lonestar Music and radio stations everywhere. Equally skilled as a headlining and opening act, the band is now looking to step into the shoes of their predecessors, and the venues they perform in. With the release of his first fully promoted single in September of 2012, and his second EP Lighthouse following in August, Sam is working harder than ever to develop his ever-increasing fan base. Having shared the stage with the likes of Joe Diffie, Randy Rogers Band, Eli Young Band, Pat Green, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Aaron Watson, Cory Morrow, and Casey Donahew among others, Sam and his band have learned from the best and continue to build the their own original sound. With the momentum and determination that radiates from this band, combined with their hard-hitting live show and soul-searching lyrics, Sam Riggs and The Night People are steadily becoming a sound to be reckoned with in the Texas and national scene.
