SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS CARTEL – BRIGHT MINDS FROM CENTRAL TEXAS
This month we will have another great lineup.
Doctor Frederic Parke from the Department of Visualization, Texas A&M University will be presenting "Immersive Visualization Systems"
A discussion of some issues associated with the design, implementation and application of tiled immersive visualization systems. These include the architecture of these multi-process, multi-processor systems, tile geometries, intra-tile seams, calibration and projection distortions, image synchronization, approaches to stereo display, example applications, and functionality.
Our second track will be a presentation by international entrepreneur and expert developer Tom Peck, Chief Architect at AppEngines. He will talk about Amazon Web Services, showing how you can use AWS to host large scale web sites and process huge amounts of data.
We will start setting up at 5:30pm. Guests are welcome to join us any time after that. SDC activities start at 6:30pm.
