Texas Music Workforce is proud to welcome Ben Bohorquez and Kwinton Gray from Dallas to the Brazos Valley for a musical tour de force unlike anything available to be seen even quasi-locally. These two talented gentlemen have toured internationally with the band The Funky Knuckles which is on their 4th album of all original music and have interesting musical careers in many other places as well.

Kwinton and his two siblings JK and Kierra Gray were nominated for four DOMAs (Dallas Observer Music Awards) between just the three of them for Best Keyboard Player, Best Bass Player, Best Female Vocal, and Best Jazz Act. Their super talented family will be putting on on of Dallas’s most anticipated shows of the year later this month at the Kessler Theatre. Here’s a link to that article:

Ben Bohorquez grew up just down the road in Houston, Texas and attended the High School for Visual and Performing Arts. He now holds a degree in Music Performance from the University of North Texas and has been a highly in-demand player on the Dallas scene for the last ten years. He has been playing with the Funky Knuckles since the very first record and has played with Snarky Puppy, Consider the Source, and many more.
