The Gray Havens centers around husband/wife Dave and Licia Radford. Since their beginning in 2013, their projects have been hailed as “an imaginative treatment of faith…[having] a visionary quality that’s both playful and enraptured.” They have a knack for creating a listening experience similar to paging through your favorite book, with richly textured compositions and multi-layered lyrics. The duo has gained a steady following of listeners nationwide and have become a favorite on college campuses throughout the U.S.

When I was in college, although I can’t recall the specific circumstances, one of my best friends shared with me the phrase “bringing art to orthodoxy.” I always thought that was a neat way to intertwine truth and creativity. I believe that art, specifically music, for whatever reason is a really powerful tool. With it, artists have the ability to craft songs that can either encourage or tear down, that can either lead people astray or lead them to something true. That’s why I’m making music – in hopes to encourage and lead people to truth. And, heck, to have fun! I hope you enjoy the songs that I co-create with others.
