#TheCollection

RealMusicIsLife Ent. and DopeArtCollective present: #TheCollection. A collective gathering of some of the dopest talent locally, regionally, and nationally. The night will be filled with art of all kinds – poetry, hip-hop & R&B, dance, as well as music and art in many other forms. This is not your average open mic – artists will either be invited to perform or will be selected from an audition prior to the event.

The purpose of this event is to give exposure to artists who, in other cases, would not receive such a platform. #TheCollection allows for engagement with the community at large as it is the responsibility of the artist to bring the art where it is needed the most. #TheCollection hopes to become a beacon for artists to come and present their craft to a group of potential fans. Some of the art forms presented would otherwise not be exposed without a platform of this kind, so we are collectively bringing the community and the artists together for a one-of-a-kind extravaganza! With the future in mind, we will simultaneously be giving performing artists the experience needed to take their gift to the world regardless of the genre.
