Thomas Csorba with Michael Witt and Kayla French
November 15 @ 7:00 pm
Thomas Csorba put his nose to the grindstone as a songwriter and performer at a young age, but these releases don’t show his youth. In the same tradition as Townes Van Zandt, Woodie Guthrie, and other lyrical greats, Csorba’s songs were written for old souls. His work is mournful, sweet, and beautifully honest. He’s a link in a chain of a long tradition of powerful writers, and he’s proud to bear that responsibility.
Armed with a stage presence as poignant and moving as his vocal delivery, Michael Witt is a singer/songwriter from Bryan, Texas that delivers unwavering sincerity and emotion in his music. Michael’s unapologetically honest songwriting and emotive live performances are indicative of a musical wisdom far beyond his years. After spending his teen years writing and learning various instruments, Michael has developed his signature sound into a unique blend of acoustic-driven folk and electric indie energy. These elements come together to create an ethereal atmosphere that perfectly accompanies his vivid storytelling. Michael’s debut single Late Rose is available on all major platforms. His debut EP “As A Brother” will be available everywhere on September 28th, 2018.
“I’m a Texas-based musician living in DC. I’ve been playing guitar since I was a young girl and I’ve been singing since I could talk. I released my first album last year, which is available on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, and Google Play. It has three songs, all of which I wrote. Music is one of my biggest passions. I love to use words to express myself, and having the ability to put chords and rhythm behind it makes it all the better.”
