Century Singers is honored to be singing at Carnegie Hall in March. To commemorate this event, a piece was commissioned by Dr. Posada, and Michael John Trotta was selected as the composer. The piece is entitled “Tu Sola Remedio,” and will have its world premiere at the Century Singers concert on March 12, 2016. Furthermore, composer-in-residence for the Los Angeles Master Chorale, Shawn Kirchner will join Century Singers onstage for the finale as the choir sings his piece “I’ll Be On My Way.” Whilst in New York, the choir will also be visiting and enjoying all the city has to offer–from the National September 11th Memorial & Museum, to Central Park, Times Square, and Broadway, to a church performance at Trinity Wall Street.
