Grand Stafford is thrilled to present the Bluegrass- Americana stylings of The Honey Dewdrops. This husband and wife duo, also known as Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish, express their simplistic take on the beauty of songwriting through their genuine and honest performances. Bluegrass Magazine says
“Their talent is such that it’s quite possible that a new band recording in the year 2020 might cite the Honey Dewdrops as a prime influence.”
The road has been their family and biggest influence for the first three albums released, however, their fourth album Tangled Country was created, for the first time, all in one place. A testament to the power of home, the album reflects three years’ worth of writing and assembling harmonies in just the right places in order to establish a musical maturity that all songwriters aspire to. Grand Stafford’s own Musician in Residence Landon McGee will join the evening line-up as well. Landon’s authentic sound is largely born in his dorm room, demonstrating the emerging talent he has truly refined over the creation of his album, Kite. His easy melodies will provide the perfect opening to complement the Honey Dewdrops Americana vibe.
The show is set for Saturday, January 23rd at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Get your tickets today and make plans today to enjoy a night of great music at Grand Stafford Theater.
We cannot wait to welcome the Honey Dewdrops to the Grand Stafford and we hope you can join us!
