Ancient Wisdom
Not unlike early death rock and neo-folkore sound, Ancient VVisdom incorporates electric guitar effects, synth sounds, vocal harmonies and abstract percussion to create a deeper, ethereal quality to their minimalist arranagements. Nathan’s powerfully honest voice is complimented by lyrics ranging from mysteries of the occult, paganism, satanic philosophy, and forbidden knowledge.
Myra Maybelle
Myra Maybelle is hard hitting, high energy metal band out of Bryan/College Station, TX. We all come from a long line of musicianship. Will and Camo were formerly members of Behold the Great Throne. After BTGT parted ways Will, Cam, and former guitar play of Sea of Wolves Luca, decided to launch a new project with no limits. Night after night the booze clanked, the walls shook, and music littered the air. We had minor set backs, but we shook them off and rose out of the ashes and found the Norwegian pancake-c lo green, and former Transcend Before Azalea bassist Michael Brammer, to form what you would call powerhouse band “Myra Maybelle”. Music is love. Friendship is key. And family is everything. So be on the look out for upcoming shows and events.
Fallacy
Given the fact that this band was born in late October 2010, FallacY has amassed a loyal cult following, having done everything from internet to fm radio shows, backyard parties, local & national festivals, to sharing the stage with both national & international acts.
Firestarter ’82
Firestarter ’82 start in Lafayette, LA, the hometown of Dudeman (lead guitarist/singer). Dudeman had a hard time piecing together the line-up he needed, so he sought other lands. Initially, San Diego was to be the first stop, but his roommate Doug suggested the “Live Music Capital of The World”, so they moved to Austin, TX. Here, the search for musicians started slow, but eventually he found his first guitarist, Issy Martinez, followed by a bassist named Dee Castillo (later titled Malice Blackhart). Not pleased with the direction, he branched off with Malice and they formed Rock Bottom. It took about a year to form a complete line-up and eventually start gigging, but inner tension in the band caused its demise. Not willing to quit, Dudeman continued on with his drummer, Craig Norris, and formed Firestarter ’82. The band went through a few incarnations before finally gaining completion with it’s current line-up: Art Green – drums, Jonny Rocket – keys, Ian Smith – guitar, Melissa Krenek – Bass. And the legend continues…
